These contributions are used to supplement the funding our school receives from the government. They are used to maintain and improve the resources available to your child/ren. The funds are used in a variety of curriculum areas including English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Technologies, Health and Physical Education, Languages and the Arts.
The $60 Voluntary Contribution equates to just $1.50 per week. A 25% discount is available to holders of a current Centrelink Health Care Card on presentation.
Our school’s Parents and Citizens’ (P&C) Association asks all parents to pay a contribution as contributing to the P&C directly benefits your children. Improvements and projects such as upgrading our library and playgrounds would not be possible without the support of our P&C. The school forwards donations to the P&C as they are collected. In 2022 the amount is $50 per child. Our P&C also arranges events such as discos and Movie Nights and coordinates initiatives such as Book Club, Book Fair, and the Second- hand Uniform Shop.
The charges are based on the year level of your child. The amounts listed in the table below represent the maximum that will be charged in 2022. We invoice this as an annual amount, which does away with intermittent requests for small amounts of money and the collection of money by teachers. Any credit from the previous year is carried over and will reduce the charges you are invoiced for. Records of a child’s attendance and associated costs for events are available for parents to view at any time. A child’s participation is conditional on payment being made. Also if the school diary is lost, an additional fee ($7.50 or $8.50) will be charged for a replacement.

The list of personal items that each child requires to bring to school in 2022 is available from the School CONNECT space. Ziggies Educational Supplies are located at 25B Baile Rd Canning Vale and continues to be our preferred supplier. In lieu of the school receiving a rebate, Ziggies discounts the costs of items for parents. The average cost is $117.45 per student (max $152.45). Year 4 to 6 students are also expected to supply an Apple Ipad (minimum specification requirements apply). School Uniforms are compulsory for all students. They can only be purchased from Uniform Concepts at 30 Kembla Road, Willetton or from the Second Hand Uniform Shop run by the P&C Association.
These charges relate to optional opportunities and events available to all or selected students. A student’s participation is conditional on payment being made. Charges may be incurred for events including:
EFTPOS facilities and electronic bank transfer will be available. No payment until February 2022.
