Contributions and Charges

Voluntary Contributions

These contributions are used to supplement the funding our school receives from the government. They are used to maintain and improve the resources available to your child/ren. The funds are used in a variety of curriculum areas including English, Mathematics, Humanities and Social Sciences, Science and Technologies, Health and Physical Education and the Arts.

The $60 Voluntary Contribution equates to just $1.50 per week. A 25% discount is available to holders of a current Centrelink Health Care Card on presentation.

P&C Voluntary Contribution

Our school’s Parents and Citizen’s (P&C) Association asks all parents to pay a contribution so that there is no need to engage in major fundraising events throughout the year. Contributing to the P&C directly benefits your children. Improvements and projects such as upgrading our library and playgrounds would not be possible without the support of our P&C. The school forwards donations to the P&C as they are collected. In 2020 the amounts are at $40 per child. Our P&C also arranges and coordinates events such as discos and Family Fun Days and initiatives such as Book Club, Book Fair and the Second-hand Uniform Shop.

Compulsory Charges

The charges are based on the year level of your child. The amounts listed in the table below represent the maximum that will be charged in 2020. We invoice this as an annual amount, which does away with intermittent requests for small amounts of money and the collection of money by teachers. Any credit from the previous year is carried over and will reduce the charges you are invoiced for. Records of a child’s attendance and associated costs for events are available for parents to view at any time. A child’s participation is conditional on payment being made. Also if the school diary is lost, an additional fee ($7.50 or $8.50) will be charged for a replacement.
